Why did you choose Navy?  The Naval Academy provided the best balance of education and athletics, not to mention the opportunity to serve after graduation.

What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football? If you like fast and easy results, this might not be the place for you. The Naval Academy requires a lot out of you, but gives a lot back in return.

If you could play another position, what position would you play and why?  I would play striker because It would be a lot of fun and I could play in coverage and hit people.

If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule, who would you choose and why? USC, just so I could see California.

Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why?  Practical Writing, because I enjoy writing and my favorite teacher taught the class.

Hardest class at the Naval Academy and why? Physics I and II. No explanation, enough said by course name.

Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy and why?  CAPT Meehan. She was a former athlete herself and made it fun to come to class everyday.

Favorite form of social media and why?  Twitter, every time I open the app it makes me laugh.

Favorite person to follow on social media and why?  Ahmad Bradley, he puts on a display of outfits that never fail to amaze me.

If you could have dinner with any 4 people at the Naval Academy who would you choose and why?: Ahmad Bradley, Jayden Umbarger, Massai Maynor and Mark Walker. It would be great vibes and a lot of jokes/laughing.

Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why?  Men’s Basketball. I’m a huge basketball fan in general but my roommate is also the point guard for the team.

If you didn’t play football at Navy, what sport would you play and why?  Basketball, because it’s my favorite sport.

What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field?  Yes Sir by Chief Keef.

What is your dream vacation? I would like to stay at a resort in Cabo.

How many teams should make the FBS Playoffs?  8

What is the best thing about being in the American Athletic Conference? It’s the best Group of 5 conference; it can be argued we play a tougher schedule than some of the power 5 conferences.

Favorite Coach Niumatalolo quote:  “It’s hard to win.”

One word to describe a Navy Football player: Resilient

Who will be the surprise player on offense in 2022? Vincent Terrell III

Who will be the surprise player on defense in 2022? Jianni Woodson-Brooks.

Who is the toughest player on the Navy football team and why? Eavan Gibbons. He is just a real nitty gritty football player who plays the right way.

What player epitomizes Navy Football and why?  Jayden Umbarger. He has the best balance of being a good midshipman while doing everything it takes and more when he steps on the field.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on offense in 2022 and why?  Tai Lavatai, because he’s the quarterback. It has to be him if we want to be any good.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on defense in 2022 and why? John Marshall, he was responsible for a lot of big plays for us last year and I think he will do even more this year.

What are you most looking forward to in 2022? I am excited for the season and another chance to bring the CIC back to Annapolis.
