What do you want to do after graduation and Why? I am undecided right now, both the Marine Corps and Navy are appealing to me. I like the tough mindset of the Marine Corps and I think the culture fits me, but I also know the Navy provides a lot of opportunities to show your leadership skills.
Why did you choose the Naval Academy? I chose Navy not only because it was my best opportunity for me to play FBS football, but also because it’s such a prestigious school and understanding that getting a degree from the Naval Academy is special. Going to the Naval Academy was the best place to set myself up for the future.
What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football? I would tell them that the bond we have at Navy, we call it The Brotherhood, is a bond that will never be broken. That bond will continue with you long after your playing career is over. Coming to Navy is an opportunity you can’t miss. We are brothers, we love each other, we have courage, we have toughness and we have trust.
If you could play another position, what position would you play and why? I would love to play defensive back or striker because in high school I played both positions. It was fun making tackles and intercepting passes. I was pretty good at calling out what the offense was going to run. Don’t let my size fool you, I could play on defense.
If you could choose an opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule, who would you choose and why? It would most definitely be the University of Miami! That’s my hometown team and I grew up watching them. Playing at Miami would be a blessing, because all of my family coud come to the game.
Hardest class at the Naval Academy and why? Cyber Security, because there’s so much going on in the class and it is very confusing to me.
